Week 13 || 100MileMonday

Spring100 Featured Photographer: Lori Cook

Week 13 is complete! My friends, what a joy to be here.🀩 The great news is that this challenge still has three days left. The final day to grab your 2025 Spring100 miles is the last day of Spring, June 20th (11:59 p.m.)!! For those who are working on crossing the finish line, you still have time to walk/run and log miles. We will have one more 2025 Spring100 post featuring FINISH LINE PHOTOS and instructions on purchasing your shirts. This post will be live next Monday(June 23rd!) I would love to have as many fun photos as possible. Would you help me out?? Even if you finished your miles long ago, go out and grab one final Spring100 mile and snap a photo to be featured in our final post. THANK YOU!πŸ“ΈπŸ™ŒπŸ» I am reminded of 2 Timothy where Paul says “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course”. As we finish out our Spring100 season, we will all continue forward in the race of life! For some, you will have 50+ years ahead of you. For others, we may be nearing the “finish line” of life sooner. It is my prayer that each of us runs with endurance in the strength of the Lord and can finish saying, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” By God’s grace and for His glory! Okay, let’s finish out this challenge strong. I am cheering you all on!! πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ REMINDER: FINAL DAY to grab your Spring100 miles is Friday, June 20th, 2025!!

Spring100 Weekly Meditation
Keep the Faith

2 Timothy 4:7-8 || Week 13

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:7-8

“I have kept the faith. I have kept the doctrines of the gospel, and never betrayed any of them.” Note, First, The life of a Christian, but especially of a minister, is a warfare and a race, sometimes compared to the one in the scripture, and sometimes to the other. Secondly, It is a good fight, a good warfare; the cause is good, and the victory is sure, if we continue faithful and courageous. Thirdly, We must fight this good fight; we must fight it out, and finish our course; we must not give over till we are made more than conquerors through him who hath loved us, Rom. 8:37. Fourthly, It is a great comfort to a dying saint, when he can look back upon his past life and say with our apostle, “I have fought, etc. I have kept the faith, the doctrine of faith and the grace of faith.” Towards the end of our days to be able to speak in this manner, what comfort, unspeakable comfort, will it afford! Let it then be our constant endeavour, by the grace of God, that we may finish our course with joy, Acts 20:24.-Matthew Henry

    Every year I get excited about walking 100 miles. Something always hinders me and I never get it done. This year I was determined to do it! BUT I did something to my leg/hip that has hindered me from walking 1 mile. I just gave up trying!! Now trying to figure out what is wrong with my leg!
    . . . Maybe next year!
