Week 12 || 100MileMonday

Spring100 Featured Photographer: Joanna Klassen

My friends, we are rounding the corner and nearing the Spring100 2025 Finish Line. 🏁 It is in sight… just over a week away!! I want to encourage all those feeling too far behind to stay the course and not give up! With 11 days in this challenge, you will be amazed at how far you can go in God’s strength. 🙌🏻 So many are at the finish line, eagerly waiting to see you through!! As we near the end of this challenge, I am reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9, which talks about God’s grace being made perfect in our weakness. As I have thought on the theme word for 2025 I have been reminded that we only endure by His grace! So, today I pray that, with eyes fixed on the finish line, you continue full force forward in the strength of the Lord! You are so close. His grace is sufficient for all things. Don’t give up!! 👏🏼💯

Spring100 Weekly Meditation
Grace Sufficient

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 || Week 12

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Endurance is the proof that God’s grace is alive in us, enabling us to keep going when all else seems lost.-George Whitefield

We should not expect an easy path in the Christian life, but we should expect the grace to endure every hardship.-John Wesley

We are not our own. Therefore, let us not think we belong to ourselves. We belong to God. Let us live for Him, and let us rely on His grace to sustain us in every trial… God’s grace is sufficient to sustain us in the trials of life, for He gives strength to the weak and hope to the weary.-John Calvin

When God does not take away our troubles and temptations, yet, if he gives grace enough for us, we have no reason to complain. Grace signifies the good-will of God towards us, and that is enough to enlighten and enliven us, sufficient to strengthen and comfort in all afflictions and distresses. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Thus his grace is manifested and magnified. When we are weak in ourselves, then we are strong in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; when we feel that we are weak in ourselves, then we go to Christ, receive strength from him, and enjoy most the supplies of Divine strength and grace.- Matthew Henry

    Thanks to all who have made this Challenge a thing. Your efforts have inspired and encouraged many along the way to physical achievement and possibly even mental health b/c getting out and moving the body contributes in that area as well. And of course the spiritual reminders. Jesus paid it all!

        Thank you so much for doing this challenge! It is a fun blessing to do with one of our married daughters, who is many states away from us and also with our 5 children still at home. Our children loved having their pictures posted when they hit 100 miles and encouraged the ones who hadn’t to keep going. One daughter commented that we have definitely been more active this spring😀. Lord willing we will keep it up over the year!!!
        Thank you,

    I am hoping by the grace of God to continue walking throughout the coming year. I’ve topped 150 miles so far this spring, and I’m so grateful for the challenge that got me back up and going! Thanks so much for hosting it once again, Rachel!!! Gita, my former walking partner, just turned 104 years old on the 5th, by the way!!! She doesn’t walk anymore or even remember that she and I used to walk, but the memories are precious to me! 🙂
