Week 10 πŸ’― || 100MileMonday

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9

Ladies and Gentlemen…. we are officially just 30 days from the end of the Spring100 Challenge! Over 2/3rds of the way!! The Finish Line is in sight and I am so excited to already see so many finished and waiting for us to join them there. πŸ…πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Now is the time to NOT GIVE UP! Don’t grow weary and keep on pressing forward. The great news is if you are REALLY BEHIND, you still have time to catch up!! If you haven’t even walked a single mile yet, you can still easily get to the 100-mile mark.πŸ’― According to google, the average walking pace is 3-4 miles per hour. If you still have all 100 miles to accomplish for this challenge, you can easily reach that 100-mile goal by dedicating 1 hour and walking 3.5 miles a day! If you don’t have a solid hour to dedicate to walking, split up the walks into 2 30-minute segments or even 4 15-minute quick walking breaks. I am so excited to see each and every one of you at the 2022 Spring100 Finish Line! As we set our eyes on the Spring100 Prize(spiffy custom printed Spring100 T-shirt) I am reminded of our spiritual reward as we run the race of life. Genesis 15:1 tells us “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” Set your eyes on the Prize, Jesus Christ… the Author and Finisher of our faith and RUN! I am praying The Lord God strengthens, equips, and encourages you to finish strong in HIM… Let’s do this! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽ‰

Another great week here in Texas! I grabbed hand-weights and enjoyed participating in the “Weighted Walk Challenge”. What a great reminder of how easily just a little weight can hold you back and slow you down from running your fullest! I am praying for each of you this week as you set out to reach your Spring100 goals. Run in the strength of the Lord!! May He renew your strength in a special way.πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ’―

β€œWherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2

    If I could still have refined sugar, I would choose vanilla chocolate chip ice cream! Now, I make ice cream from frozen bananas, raw cocoa powder (cacao) and raw honey as the main ingredients. Just as yummy! I didn’t have anything special when I completed my 100 miles, though. Lost opportunity! πŸ˜‰
