“I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.  Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.”
Psalm 119:32-33

Oh my, it’s been a blustery cold week for everyone doing the Spring100 here in the USA this week! How is that for April weather? 😉 So many of you have overcome snowstorms, rain, and freezing temperatures to tackle your miles for 3 week.  ☔❄ I’m so encouraged by YOUR dedication! I’ve been thinking about the race the Lord sets us on and how His Word is a light for our path. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”Ps 119:105. ??Who would run a rocky unknown mountain trail in the dark without a head lamp? ? Not me!!!  By His Word illuminating our path, we will be able to navigate through this race of life[2 Tim 3:16]. As we enter week 4 of the Spring100 and you set out to get those walking miles in, I  want to challenge you all to more diligently hide God’s Word in your heart and make It your delight[Ps 1:1-2]!  Memorize, listen to, read think about, and make it your 24/7 meditation. Do exactly what Psalm 119:32 says, I WILL RUN the way of THY commandments! So who is with me? Come rain or shine, let’s conquer week 4 of the Spring100! Have fun!!???

“Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.”
Psalm 128:1

??Did you get your miles logged? Good, now we can move on to the fun! 😉 How was week 2 for you? From the pictures received, it looks like I wasn’t the only one walking in rain this week. 😉 April is here so don’t forget to print your Spring100 April Calendar. For week 3 I chose Psalm 86:11 as the verses I will be meditating on as I walk! It says, Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. This verse is one of my all-time favorite verses to recite during my walks. “unite my heart to fear THY NAME”! ? We are told that the fear of the Lord  leads to life[Prov 19:23], blessings abundant[Ps 115:13], wisdom[Prov 1:7»Prov 9:10], and satisfaction. “The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.”Prov 19:23! This week I strongly encourage y’all to memorize and meditate on Psalm 86:11 during your walks/runs. WEEK 1 MILEAGE FORM

…………………………

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:2

As I walk the Spring100 miles each week, it’s a great reminder for me of our spiritual race we are set on.  Hebrews 12:2 has been on my mind all week!We are called to run this race set before with endurance in Hebrews 12 but this is only possible as we steadfastly set our eyes on Jesus Christ, finding our strength in Him alone!  One of my favorite verses in Ps 118 is “The LORD is my STRENGTH and song, and is become my salvation.” Have you set your gaze upon Christ?  Are you looking to Him only for your strength, your joy, and your salvation?  If you are looking to any other for endurance to run this race you will fail.  It is in Christ alone and by His great, endless strength and grace that we will joyfully run with endurance the spiritual race set before us! He is our Joy[Psalm 43:4], our Strength[Ps 28:7], and He is our Salvation[Is 12:2].  Let’s set our eyes steadfastly on Christ, the author and finisher of our faith and run with endurance!! ?  Enjoy walking/running week 2 of the Spring100 y’all??

Week 2 QUESTION!! ?How did week 1 of the SPRING100 go for you??  And how was your weather for Spring100 week 1? Snow, rain, or sunshine? I would love to know so get involved by commenting below!↓

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
