“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.”
Psalm 20:7-8

As mentioned above, we are nearing 1 full month of this walking challenge!! That is 30 days of the 94-day challenge. PRAISE THE LORD, what a great achievement! It is said that 64% of people quit a resolution within the first month of starting. Let’s prove the world’s statistics wrong by going forward in the strength of the Lord and finishing this 2022 Spring100 strong!! Remember, if you are behind, catching up is not hard. Add an extra mile to your daily routine and get back on track and make your way to the finish line. By the grace of God… you can do it!!!!! Ready, set, LET’S GO!!!!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ฏ

QUESTION: As we near the 1-month mark, are you right on track, “ahead of schedule”, or falling a bit behind when it comes to grabbing your Spring100 miles?? I would love to hear and have everyone encourage each other forward in the comments for a new week of Spring100!

Our weather and our wind along with my lungs, I’ve not been able to rack up the miles these past 2 weeks. Now more rain in the forecast this week. Will I make it to the 100 mile mark. I do not like a treadmill, so I can’t ho on there for miles. Wish the elliptical could count! I’d be on it! I had bult up to walking 2 miles at a time and then the wind, cold and rain set in. My lungs just can not handle the cold. BUT, thanks for the challenge!!

I think Iโ€™m roughly 7 or 8 miles behind. I live in the city this year and have to drive to a park to feel safe walking alone and Iโ€™m just too tired to do that every day. I vastly underestimated the difference between pushing myself with a sprained ankle versus pushing myself 8 months pregnant. Iโ€™ve come to the conclusion Iโ€™m very likely not going to finish this year, but itโ€™s still good accountability to get out and walk a couple times a week.

Set a certain time in the day to go walk so you’ll be more sure to do it, or get an accountability partner to walk with. Just 30-45 minutes a day will go a long way in getting caught up or racking up those miles!

So many great pictures this week! I enjoyed seeing everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello all! Yes this is SO exciting!๐Ÿ˜† Me and my sisters are doing Spring100 and we live on a farm. Life is very busy right now. I’ve found that God helps me get my miles done even when I’m tired or don’t want to do them. I normally do about 1mi walking my dogs๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ, which if you do have dogs, you must know they are great with accomplishing your miles. Then I do one more later in the afternoon. I would suggest lots of prayer for help. When you are feeling tired and overwhelmed, not knowing how you are going to fit your miles in with your schedule just stop and ask God for help. Well I really have enjoyed this week as we have had a lot of warm weather๐ŸŒž and all our snow is meltingโ„. Thank you Rachel for everything! See you next week!

So wonderful seeing the video and pictures as usual! I think I’m doing an average of 1.19 miles a day, so so far so good! I have fallen behind though several times, and was concerned that I wasn’t getting a daily walk done. God blessed us with better weather though, which helped me catch up. I just want to encourage those who are behind or know they won’t be able to finish: this is not a pressurized competition, with people looking down on others for their failures or shortcomings! We are all just enjoying the time spent with family and friends and God getting some exercise in. So don’t get down on yourself by comparing your miles to others! (: See y’all next week.

It’s awesome to hear all the comments and how encouraging they are! I’ve fallen behind on getting my miles, but I hope to catch back up once school ends at the beginning of May since I won’t be teaching and will have extra time. I’ve been enjoying the walking I’ve been able to do though!

Well, not sure what happened to my comment yesterday, so trying this again…
I am about 3 miles behind in my goal of 150 miles, but hope to get caught up this week! Last nightโ€™s after-dinner sibling walk helped me get another mile under my belt! ๐Ÿ˜Š To those of you who are behind – donโ€™t give up! Even if you hadnโ€™t walked a single mile up until now, all you would need to do is about 1.6 miles a day to reach 100 miles before June 20th! We are cheering you on! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ฏ

Great job everybody! I loved seeing all the pictures & especially the videos – those were really fun! I have walked a little over 40 miles so far & I am excited to keep pressing toward the goal. ๐Ÿ™‚ Just got back in from a walk in the rain with my brothers. Great times! ๐Ÿ™‚
I want to share a couple of encouraging verses with you all:
1 Corinthians 15:57-58 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I’m a bit behind but am not feeling too bad about it because it’s been so rainy, snowy, and cold. I know warm weather is coming, though, and I’ll be able to catch up (and hopefully pass 100 miles!) at that time! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I am a little bit ahead- I have 44 miles, and it’s been 38 days of spring so far, if I’m counting correctly. Thankfully we’ve had nice weather the past couple weeks and have been outside a lot! ๐Ÿ˜Š I love seeing all the pictures!!

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
