This is unbelievable and I am SO excited! Below I have some important information to read over but first NOW is the time to log your mileage for WEEK 13(miles walked from June 7th-13th)! Here we are with 6 days remaining in this year’s Spring100! Sunday, June 20th is the FINAL day to grab your miles for the 2021 Spring100! 6 days left to walk and meet your 100-mile goal or add to the 100+ miles you have already walked.👏🏼🎉 You’ve rounded the corner and the finish line is in sight…. Set your eyes on the prize and RUN!!!!! We are cheering you on. Find your strength in the Lord…. YOU CAN DO THIS! 🙋🏼♀️ I don’t know how we’ve even gotten here but I am amazed! Amazed by the Lord’s goodness, strength, and grace which has been so evident in each Spring100er as I watch you all nearing and crossing the finish line! Whether you are one of our youngest walkers at age 3 or our oldest at age 100, every step walked in this Spring100 has been a gift from God. It’s True! A verse that has come to mind is Acts 17:28, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being…” So my friends, let’s finish the last 6 days strong and singing the Lord’s praise. I’ll be seeing you at the finish line!

☞ Our next post will be the FINAL 100MileMonday for 2021. This will be our Spring100 Finish Line Grand Finally! That post is going to be one of the most important posts to read through and follow instructions very carefully as it holds our final Mile Log and the Confirmation “Finish Line” Form for those who finished 100+ miles for the Spring100 Challenge! The Confirmation Form will be is different from the Mile Log so BE ALERT and FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. If you don’t follow instructions, chances are 100% you will not receive that 2021 Spring100 T-Shirt you have worked so hard for!

Woohoo!!! Soooo many have crossed the finish line, sooo many are getting close! The excitement is high!!👏🏼 GREAT job, everyone!! For those of you who have not finished yet, KEEP GOING!!! Even if you have many miles left to do… I’ve even heard of someone having to walk 25 miles in the last week, but they were able to FINISH!!! One tip I would suggest is, when you do walk, try to get as many miles in at a time when you can! If you walk three miles every evening, you can grab 21 miles before the week is out!!🎉 May we all go in the strength of the Lord this week, for HIS glory!!! I had a brother who had to get 10 miles a day for the final 2 days of spring100 a few years back. He was determined to finish strong! By God’s grace, he did it.👏🏼 I was amazed to see that!!

This has been our first year doing the Spring100 and what a fun challenge it has been! As a busy Mom, it has stretched me in many ways to diligently keep pressing on (even when I got WAY behind), but has been so good, not only for me, but also for my children. Last spring I accidently double-counted some miles and discovered that I was 10 miles short of a number that I had reported. To keep it from being a lie, (even an accidental lie), I had to walk the missing miles in one day! Yikes!! It was in the heat of Florida, in the 90s, with high humidity! So, I split the walks up into 3 chunks throughout the day, taking breaks and cooling down in between. And I actually did it, at the age of 67!
Was it easy? NO!!! I got blisters on both feet, and was so tired by the end of the last mile, that I was what you would call creeping or staggering, rather than walking. But I did it! The accomplishment felt so good, even if the end of the walk did not. 😉
“And he (Jesus) said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matt. 14:29 So, don’t look at the boisterous waves of miles, keep your eyes steady on the Lord and walk!!

Last week WOW!🤪Its hard to believe that this is nearly over. I can sympathize with those who are not there yet. I have more than 14 mi to go. I’m doing 4.5mi a day so I should be done about Friday. So runners🚶♀️, its not impossible with God. Just trust Him and you’ll get it done❤👍. Also, thankyou Martha Joy for that wonderful comment and encouragement!💕😊That helped a lot! We have had some rain🌧, but it always feels good when walking in the heat I hope everyone accomplishes their goals while enjoying the weather!🌞🌤 See everyone at the finish line!
