Hello Week 4!! || 100mileMonday

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

    We are experiencing gorgeous weather here. I think that only once this week there was a rainy day for the Spring100. Geese joined in with the lovely scenery.There are intermittent trails to walk on the golf course with beautiful flowers along the way. So, over all, I think we had a nice week to walk. πŸ™‚

    This week was great! To answer the questions:
    1. I try to get daily walks in — often, breaking it up into two walks a day since that seems to work better for Adele. ?
    2. My definite favorite time to walk is in the morning, right after Travis goes to work! It isn’t so hot yet… ?
    Thanks so much for encouraging us on, Rachel! I’m enjoying this challenge, and the opportunity to seek the Lord!

    We typically go two or three times in a week.

    I love morning walks, but don’t necessarily love waking up extra early to fit it in :). We usually end up going right at dusk, which makes picture taking a little challenging.

    Hey all! I’m aiming at walking/running 3 to 4 times a week but nothing is set in stone. Sometimes I go with my sister but most often it’s on trails in the pastures. πŸ™‚ We’ve had gorgeous weather in Oklahoma. I love the spring storms. Not sure of my favorite time except that I love it when it’s sunny but not too hot!

    Morning walks are my favorite. Trying to do 3 miles on days off. After work walks are more of a chore……. the challenge is ‘making’ me get out for at least an occasional short one. Was planning to walk one mile after work today but went 1/2 mile more! Really enjoy the photos.

    I usually try to walk six days a week and at least get 1.1 mile in on each of those days. But if I have more free time, I usually do any extra mile or so on my Spring 100 days.

    I don’t exactly have a favorite time to take walks/jogs, but I probably usually end up doing them in the afternoon or early evening.

    Thanks for the encouragement, Rachel!! Exciting news here is Week 3 made the 7 miles in a week count!

    1) Ideal is longer walks four days a week…but I’d love to be able to fit in an extra one on the weekends! Maybe this Spring100… πŸ™‚ Being outdoors can be so refreshing!

    2) Morning! But I also enjoy hiking in the afternoon. πŸ™‚

    1. On week days If my day goes smoothly I typically take a half mile or mile walk after the girls nap than another mile when Nathaniel comes home from work.
    With the first walk of the day we usually end up stopping to feed the neighbors cows some carrots and I slowly follow Kathryn as she walks and stops to look at everything.

    2. Favorite time to walk is in the evening and I get to watch the sun go down. πŸ™‚
