I am so excited to see everyone entering week 4 of the Spring100 challenge with so much energy and enthusiasm!! 🙌🏻 WAY TO GO!!! How was week 3 for you?? This past week I was reminded how important it is to redeem the time. We are told in Ephesians 5 to walk circumspectly(with watchfulness every way), redeeming the time for the days are evil! Did you know that every mile you walk for Spring100 can be more than just a time to walk and keep physically fit? It is true!! Your time spent walking the Spring100 can be a time you dedicate to praying, listening to scripture, or audio sermons. It can be a time you use to memorize and recite Scripture! Your spring100 miles can be a time to invest in relationships by walking with a family member or friend, enjoying edifying conversation, and seeking to encourage them in the Lord. I want to encourage you as we enter week 4 and you head out to grab your miles to be intentional about redeeming the time. Make your walks/runs more than just grabbing your miles… make them edifying and spiritually uplifting! Ready? Let’s do it! 🙌🏻🎉🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

PLEASE READ: I respect your privacy! When emailing your photos, please include the name(s) you’d like us to use when posting your photo(s). You can use your full name or just first name or, if you prefer, send the photo with your initials or nickname. Feel free to include a short caption to be shared also!

Each week I choose between 70-80 photos from Spring100ers to be featured. Follow the below Spring100 photo guidelines for a better chance to be featured in the upcoming 100MileMonday posts!

Spring100 Photo TIPS!

A few helpful tips when taking and sending your Spring100 photo

1.) Send your photo in higher resolution and be sure it’s clear! Often, photos are sent too small. Photos that are too small or blurry cannot be used!
2.) Please no text overlays or picture collages! Sending the photos individually without text added will give you a better chance of being featured!
3.) Refrain from using finger symbols when posing for a Spring100 photo please! Thumbs Up 👍🏻 is fine but photos of Spring100ers using other finger symbols are rarely used.
4.) SEND IN BY THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE! The weekly Photo submission deadline is Sunday at 10am(cst).
5.) Get creative and HAVE FUN!!!!!!

How did this past week go for you all? This was our first FULL week of walking this Spring100!! Each Spring100 season I choose a theme and with each theme, the Lord brings scripture to mind during my walks that makes this challenge so much more than just walking! This year, my personal theme for the 2022 Spring 100 is “Looking unto Jesus”! As you set out to reach your 100-mile goal this Spring100 and as you run the race of life, your gaze will need to be steadfast and firmly set on Jesus Christ, the author, and FINISHER of our faith. You will need to go in the His strength and for His glory! We are commanded in Psalm 105:4 to “Look to the Lord and HIS strength; seek HIS face evermore.” As we do so, we are promised that we will not be put to shame, “For the Lord God will help Me, therefore shall I not be confounded; therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” So… who is ready to conquer week 3 of Spring100?? With our gaze steadfastly set on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, who is always faithful, let’s do it. 🙌🏻 Ready, set, GO! 🎉

The moment so many have been waiting for… 2022 SPRING100 registration is NOW OPEN!!

IT’S TIME TO SIGN UP for the 6th ANNUAL Spring100 Walking Challenge!! For those who are new to the Spring 100, this Challenge made up of a big but simple goal: to walk(or run!!) 100 miles from March 20th through June 21st(SPRING!) I am extremely excited to host this invigorating, Christ-centered challenge once again and I hope you will join those of us who have already committed to the 2022 Spring100. This 100-mile goal breaks down to a simple 1.1 miles a day!! Very doable, don’t you think?

For those who have participated in past years, you know how fun this Spring100 walking community is. Last year we had thousands of participants from across the world (USA, Mexico, Canada, France, Estonia, Turkey, Australia, Austria, Belgium, and… did I forget anyone??)! Why I host and hope you will join the Spring100 Challenge:

The Spring100 Challenge is one that I hope will remind you that we are participants in a daily spiritual race. Hebrews 12 commands us to RUN WITH ENDURANCE the race that is set before us. The wonderful news?! This is a race in which we are never forsaken and we do not run in our own strength. As believers, born-again Christians, we run the ultimate race with a triumphant forerunner, Jesus Christ our Lord, and we run it by His grace and in His strength! This life is a race to be run with endurance and can be as we set our eyes on HIM! Hebrews 12:1-3

Wherever you walk that week: your driveway, on a treadmill, through the park, on an old country road, or the beach (we can dream, can’t we!? ;)) With a sibling, friend, grandmother, or by yourself… Snap a photo and email it to Photos@Spring100Challenge.com. Each Monday I will be posting Spring100 recaps and providing a form for you to log your mile from the previous week!

This is the FINAL 2021 Spring100 post which is really bittersweet but at the same time a such a huge milestone. Each photo was such a blessing to receive so thank you for sending them in!! So many of you are telling me you’re loving your new and well-earned Spring100 Shirts.
