Well, we’ve made it through week 10 and are plunging into week 11 of the 2021 Spring100!! ๐๐ป Spring100 ends on June 20th. We have just 26 days to complete this fun challenge! How was week 10 for you?? As I go through Proverbs this week, Proverbs 4:18 jumped off the page and was the perfect fit for today’s post! โBut the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect dayโ. I am blessed by the truth that as children of the Lord God, our path brightly lit before us! The Lord does not leave us walking in the dark nor does He leave us to be our own guides. In Psalm 48:14 it says, โFor this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.โ And we are told in Job 23:10, โThe Lord knows the paths that we takeโฆโ He leads us by the hand(Is 41:13) and as we trust in and acknowledge Him, He promises to direct our paths (Proverb 3:5-6). โAnd thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.โ Isaiah 30:21! So with a bit of encouragement from Godโs Word, who is ready to conquer week 11 of the SPRING100? I am seeing so many cross the finish line and excited to see the rest of you hit that 100-mile goal!! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ

โWherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.โ

Least favorite weather…hmmm..๐ค probably my absolute least favorite is windy, because that makes it hard. Cloudy weather is also not fun and well also humidity. ๐ฌ we went from March-like weather to July weather in like two days this last week and it’s taking some adjustment ๐ I passed my 200 mile mark this week ๐๐
Keep up the great walking everyone! You can do it!๐ผ๐น๐ธ

Wowwwww!! There were so many beautiful views from this week’s walks!! ๐ Great job, everyone! And congrats to everyone who finished their miles!!
I just finished my 100 miles this week and am trying for 150!
1. My least favorite would probably be super hot! It was in the 90s here this week and a little miserable for walking.
2. I’ve been reflecting on these verses from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
” Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Rachel @Spring100
I think lots of Spring100ers were enjoying vacation walks this week!! ๐๐งก
WAY TO GO, EMMA!!!!!!๐๐ฏ Love your goal of 150. Hope you make it!!! Stay cool.๐
Oh! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 is a verse that has encouraged me so much. The will of God!! ๐

Great work finishing your miles, Emma!!
Sarah H
My least favorite is in the heat!! It will be near 90 this week in GA, so I have a feeling all my miles will be inside in the AC for awhile!
Rachel @Spring100
Y’all are warming up fast there!! We’ve been unseasonable cool this spring. Hope you enjoy some breezy refreshing walks for the remainder of Spring100!! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐งก

Wonderful work everybody! I would say I don’t appreciate rainy weather when I walk/run. Damp running shoes aren’t my favourite feeling in the world. (:
I especially loved the end of 1 Thessalonians. I’ve always thought what a great pledge this would make to recite as a body of believers facing life’s spiritual battles. It thrills me to read it out loud, like a “go forth” sort of message from Paul! “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:14-18.
Have a great week sisters and brothers!
Hannah
Rachel @Spring100
I agree, rainy weather is probably my least favorite too.๐๐ ๐ง I’d rather stay dry! ๐
I love what you shared from 1 Thessalonians!! ” comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all” What a command!! Thank you for your encouraging comment, Hannah!๐๐ผโโ๏ธ

Hmm…my least favorite weather to walk/run in would be when it’s hot and humid!! it’s not so bad when it’s just hot but when it’s humid as well it’s not very pleasant๐ฅด๐๐๐๐ค ๐ค๏ธ It’s been really hot and humid here in Iowa this week!!๐ถ๐ค๏ธ๐๐ฎ๐๐
Amazing pictures everyone!!๐๐ Keep going!!!!๐๐๐ You can totally do this!!๐ Happy walking for week 11!!๐
I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. Psalm 71:16
