5 Tips To Start the Spring100:
- GO IN THE STRENGTH OF THE LORD! Remember, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. “I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.” Ps 71:16
- Incorporate Scripture in your daily walks and the entirety of Spring100! Make this challenge more than just physical exercise, make it a season of spiritual refreshment and edification. The Spring100 Reading Plan is a great way to do this! “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8
- Keep track of your miles!! Whether it’s a special notebook dedicated to Spring100 or in your journal or the Spring100 calendar, PLEASE keep a personal log of your miles. YES, you will be submitting your miles to me weekly but having your own copy of miles walked will be a helpful way to “compare notes” if by chance I find you’re short of the required 100-mile goal by the end of Spring100!
- Wear good shoes when walking! π
- Interact right here on the SP100 BLOG through comments + photos! This is a fun online community when we all join together, seeking to encourage each other as we move toward the 100-mile goal!
- BONUS!! π Have fun!!ππ»ππ―

SO excited! The most important tip…SEEK the Lord for strength to complete each mile!!! Second tip…DONβT fall behind! Just missing a mile here and there adds up and then before you know it you have only one week left and 50 miles you still need to complete.π±

Rachel M.
Wooohooo I’m so excited!! πππ·πΈπΉπΌπΊπ» It was warm today in Ohio which made my first 3.6 miles fun! (side note: I never stopped last year after the spring100 so I’ve been running in the cold/snowy/cloudy/windy winter. So the sunshine is really nice!) ππΌββοΈ
My biggest suggestion is to make it a habit and make it a priority. Also, go more than 1.1 miles every day (if you can). That way, when you have to skip a day, you won’t get behind. And if you are super motivated, make a goal, say 200 or 300 miles. π±πππΌββοΈ
Welcome everyone! It’s gonna be amazing! πΈ
Rachel @Spring100
I LOVE your suggestions, Rachel!!! So sooo excited to have you back. And so happy to hear you’re enjoying some sunny weather! π€π―ππ» WAY TO GO on not quitting just because the challenge ended. That is inspirational! β₯οΈ
