WEEK 11 MILEAGE FORM
…………………………
Well, not only have we entered June but we have also entered week 12 of the SPRING100. WAY TO GO!! ?? The FINAL day of the SPRING100 is June 19th so y’all officially have exactly 2 week left to complete and submit your miles. I am so excited to see you all cross the finish line!!! This week’s verse is Psalm 16:8, “I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.“ And yes, this is a perfect verse to memorize as you conquer week 12 of the Spring100! 😉 This one verse reminds me of a couple other verses that always bring me so much encouragement- Psalm 34:5 “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.”and Isaiah 50:7 “For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” Keep on looking to the Lord and thoroughly ENJOY week 12!! I know I will be here in Texas!! ???☀️
??2 questions for this week!! ?? 1.) What is your least favorite weather to walk in? 2.) AND the question of the season which has absolutely nothing to do with walking/running… ??PINEAPPLE or WATERMELON? Which is your favorite????? DON’T LEAVE without answering at least one OR both of these questions in the comment section below. I can’t wait to hear your answer!!

So glad to have Sarah M. recovered from an injury and back in action and Lydia’s looking lovely as she conquers her Spring100!!❤️??
Rachel A. from the great Midwest enjoyed a Memorial Day walk with family and even found something worth climbing! Way to go Rachel!!?
??? Sarah B. completed her first official 5K this weekend and Leah’s going strong with weights for her Spring100!! Way to go ladies!!?????
Grace is enjoying a little break from the Texas rain and this fun duo did their mile together! Dixie seams to be a little camera shy. ???
Bekah + Lydia have been a great team! And how gorgeous sis that sunset captured during one of their walks?!??
Elisha + Adele looking lovely as they grab their miles and my parents enjoying a Spring100 walk at the Alamo this weekend. ??
Got to enjoy a couple walks with these cuties this weekend! Bekah + Emmi(and Fudge, the cat 😉 were great walking partners! ???
Hannah Griggs
My least favorite walking weather is hot with humidity, which is exactly what we’ve been having lately. The second question is such a hard choice. I love both fruits. On a hot Texas summer afternoon I would have to go with watermelon. The rest of the time I would probably pick pineapple. Enjoyed everyone’s pictures this week!
Rachel
Wow! Way to go walking in your least favorite weather. You did fantastic this past week!! Great job!! ???
Bethany Griggs
I enjoyed seeing y’all’s pictures!! My least favorite weather to walk in would be stormy, rainy weather, although I enjoy walking when it is sprinkling. Especially when it is hot. I love pineapple and watermelon but my favorite would have to be watermelon! 🙂
Rachel
I agree with you, Bethany!! 😀 Though I love walking in a storm, I wouldn’t mind missing the torrential downpours we tend to get in my area. ? I love watermelon too!! ? Enjoy week 12!
Sharon
WIND, I will walk rain, shine, or snow, but please no wind.
Farm ripe watermelon!
Rachel
Farm ripe watermelon sounds just about perfect right now! ??
Grace
I have to second Hannah, humid weather is my least favorite to walk in. If I had to chose (though I enjoy both!), watermelon would be my first choice :). I can’t believe we are just two weeks away from the finish line!!
Rachel
Hard to believe we are just 2 weeks away, isn’t it?!! Thanks for joining us this week, Grace!! ?
tera
Pineapple!!!
Probably super hot humid weather, but nose freezing cold is hard too 😉
I have thought a lot about last weeks post, it was something I needed to meditate on. Thank you for your encouragement!
Rachel
I agree… nose freezing cold is hard! ?? Have fun walking/running this next week, Tera!!
Anna
Probably very humid weather, when it’s so heavy it feels more like a dreadful swim ?
? ?
Rachel
Haha, I can sympathize with the dreadful swim feeling! ? I hope week 12 is dry and refreshing for you!! ??
travisandelisha
My first thought was I don’t enjoy walking in icy weather — so easy to slip! — but then on further reflection I think that super hot & humid weather, at least here in south TX, is more common and certainly unpleasant. So I think I’ll say the latter. ?
To answer #2: pineapple beats watermelon any day, for me! ?
Rachel
Yes, we don’t have a very good chance breaking our hips from slipping on ice around here do we?! ? I could have guessed you were a pineapple girl!! ? Happy Walking for week 12, Elisha!! ?
Sarah M.
Thank you for your post, Rachel! They are encouraging! I got a kick out of the comments. The common weather not enjoyed is hot and humid. That would definitely be mine. It’s one thing when it’s hot, but when you add that humidity in, whew. 🙂 Pineapple definitely wins over watermelon.
I’m very thankful to be walking again! Now to finish out the Spring100. 🙂
Rachel
Thank you for always leaving such fun comments! Always blessed by them!! ?? Yep, it looks like the majority would prefer staying out of the humid weather this time of year. ? Grab yourself some pineapple and have fun conquering week 12! So glad you back at it!! ??
Faith
Wow! 2 weeks left! :O I Don’t like walking in rain. And I also don’t like walking in hot, humid weather either.
Watermelon or pineapple… very hard choice, but… if I had to pick, it would probably be… hmmm… sweet, juicy, seedless watermelon. 😀
Rachel
I agree with the watermelon!! 🙂 🙂 Have fun walking week 12, Faith!!
Annie R
Wow! The end has come so fast!! This has been so much fun! Way to go everyone! 😀
I’m gunna have to go with what everyone else is saying. 🙂 I don’t like to walk in the hot, humid weather. Ugh.
Watermelon or pinapple. That’s a hard desicion!! But I’d prolly have to go with sweet, cold watermelon. 🙂
Rachel
It has flown by, hasn’t it?!! ? I hope you enjoy week 12. So glad you’re a part of the Spring100! ??
Rachel A.
Welcome back, Sarah M. Happy you’re able to join us again!
Great job catching some miles, Lydia, Sarah B., Leah, Grace, Bekah, Elisha, Emmi, Rachel, and everyone else…despite wet weather and busy schedules! 🙂
My least favorite weather to walk in is windy weather, but humidity isn’t my favorite either.
Watermelon, of course!
Rachel
????? hope you get some watermelon this week!!! Enjoy!
Natalie W.
Watermelon! 🙂
lydiajael
Loved seeing everyone in action! ??? Humid, sticky weather is my least favorite… yuck!? Watermellon, hands down! ??
Rachel
?????????
Leah
Great job Sarah on the 5k!!
I agree with Hannah- watermelon is best in the hotter months. Both are delish. 🙂
I don’t like walking in cold. I am quite a wimp when it comes to severe weather! 🙂
We are so close y’all! It’s going to be bittersweet indeed when it’s over. Have a great week!
Wonderful verses to meditate on, Rachel!
Rachel
We are close, aren’t we?!! So exciting to see all the miles come in. So many great walkers/runners out there! Enjoy walking week 12, Leah!! ??
Sarah M.
