Wow… time has flown by! I am stunned to be here in June, 18 days away from the end of this 2025 Challenge! So many of you have already finished your 100 miles. Some of you have even passed 300 miles and are still going. π± And many are working hard to finish their 100-mile goal by the finish date! FABULOUS JOB!! I am cheering you on!! πππ½ββοΈππ»ββοΈ As I look back over this busy, full, fast season, I am reminded it is in The Lord’s strength we’ve made it this far, and in His strength we will finish strong. One of my favorite verses during the Spring100 challenge is Psalm 71:16, “I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”! As I was finishing out my miles for the week, my mind went to the exhortation found in Ephesians 6 to “BE STRONG IN THE LORD”. His strength is the only way I will be able to run my race with endurance and cross the finish line. As we enter week 12, I pray each one of you will find your strength in the Lord and finish strong. Both for this Spring100 season and throughout your spiritual race here on earth! ππΌββοΈ
Spring100 Weekly Meditation
Be Strong in The Lord
Ephesians 6:10 || Week 11
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
Ephesians 6:10
For we are not able to withstand the craft and assaults of the devil, except by being fortified with the power of God. The strength that is here spoken of is not in our own power, but in the power of God, who gives us strength through His might.- John Calvin
We must not be puffed up with our own strength, for we are weak, but we must rely on Godβs power alone to give us the strength to endure.- Martin Luther
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Let us be strong in the Lord, for we are nothing of ourselves. All our strength must come from Him who is our strength, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. β Charles Spurgeon

Β “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

Way to go, everyone! I find it helpful to go on short walks throughout the day if I don’t have time for a longer walk. By the end of the day, it all adds up and counts towards the end goal! Keep it up! You can do it!

I agree with that! Even if you can walk a mile or two in the morning and then do it again in the evening, itβs easy to get even 4 or 5 miles in that way without feeling like you have to walk a really long ways at once.
Esther Friesen
If you want to cover a lot of miles at a time, it definitely helps if you can go with some friends and go to a park or reserve where you can walk new trails! It gives me a lot more motivation than just walking the same streets we always do.
