My biggest challenge: The day sneaks by so fast, then it’s time to walk. Stopping what I’m doing and getting ready to go walk is the greatest challenge.

One spiritual discussion we had: When brethren are involved in conflict, it’s best to keep silent rather than spread hear-say and gossip. It’s easy to point fingers and see the faults of others, (real or imagined), but hard to see our own faults! When we take matters into our own hands (or tongues) to try and fix problems, we usually only make things worse. But if we remember that God is the ultimate Judge, and He will, IN HIS TIME, judge according to righteous judgment, then we are trusting Him. So what can we do? We can pray, give God the conflict, and leave it to Him (who is the only One who sees everyone’s hearts) to fix things according to His will. “Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?” Genesis 18:25 (Last part.)

Congratulations Tim and Hope!??? I am so happy for you! All of these photos are too creative and so much fun to see. Keep up the great work everyone!

There are a lot of BIG challenges in keeping up with daily goals. Sometimes it can be discouraging when things just don’t go as planned and goals seem to be unmet at the end of the day.

The Lord daily reminds me through the Scriptures that my goals should be surrendered to the HIM. HIS path for the day may sometimes look a lot different from the one I had mapped out, but it will always be much better and infinitely higher:

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19:21

“Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:4-5

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalm 127:1

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10

A super-big congratulations to you, Tim & Hope! You have some darling calves there!
To answer question 1: One of my biggest challenges in accomplishing daily goals is…ME! 🙂 It may sound funny, but actually this is one thing that God has been bringing to my attention. That mySELF is getting in the way of this spiritual race of life. I’m so grateful that He’s showing me these things and that with God all things – including conquering myself – are possible! Praise His name!

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
