The heat. I do not care for the heat at all. I am absolutely ready for crisp Fall weather already. I guess I will be building endurance over the next 3 hot months. 🙂

Ha, yes! Endurance will definitely be strengthened as you eagerly wait for fall.<3 But if you didn't have the super hot days, you wouldn't appreciate the crisp autumn air as much. ;)

    Lovely photos everyone!

I have been a little sporadic with my miles and am having to do extra here and there. Especially after a date at chick-fil-a with the siblings! Need to walk off the frosted coffee!

I do like the heat, but what is impossible to walk in is thunderstorms, which is why I walked some miles indoors last week. Haha. Well I am off to get in my walk before dinner prep!

Keep up the good work y’all!
Thanks for the encouragement Rachel!!! Ps. 16 is a timely verse for my soul.<3

I’m glad someone else likes the heat!! And super thankful for the ability to grab those miles inside during the spring storms. Keep up the wonderful work, Leah! Thankful that verse blessed your soul. It always brings a cool refreshing breeze to my heart. ?☺️

Hmm.. not sure which .. rain or heat.. I despise heat but the rain can be crazy down here.
I’m at 87.8 miles so far! Only 13 left.. that’s hard for me to fathom lol.
Everyone is looking great. Praying everyone can make it. We’re so close!
    Great post Rachel!

I do not like walking when it is hot and humid outside ~ I went one day and it was almost 90 degrees and humid with the scorching sun beating down on me ?. So I try and get out later if it is going to be that warm ~ after supper or early morning. ❤️

Humidity definitely can zap you after a long walk. ? Way to go working your schedule around the hotter times of the day! Definitely not the best to be walking in the heat of the afternoon!! Keep up the wonderful work!!

Hmmmmm… I think I’d agree with the other commenters that heat is NOT fun to walk in… but I really have to say that I’ve would be the worst for me. I can handle a dog and a stroller in 100 degrees, but there’s no way it would work in ice! ??

I’m going to be sad when this Spring100 ends… it’s been so fun to see everyone’s photos, read their comments, be inspired by Rachel, and have the wonderful incentive to get out and exercise every day!

Ha! yes…. Way to look at the bright side! It wouldn’t be possible to get those miles with your load in freezing weather. ? Aw, I will miss it too. If the Lord wills, we will meet again next year for another fun Spring of walking and fellowship!

We have 77 miles to conquer in these last 16 days because I got discouraged and lazy. I certainly know that in and of myself, that goal is impossible. But with God all things are possible…and at 26 weeks pregnant, my four girls and i conquered 5 miles today by God’s strength — and we’re looking forward to doing the same tomorrow. One day at a time. 🙂

WOWZA!? That is a huge goal met today with the 5 miles. PRAISE THE LORD!! Well done Perkins ladies!!???? Yes, just take it one day at a time and pray the Lord would give you the strength to meet goals. Isn’t it beautiful that God calls us to do the same in our spiritual life too? One day at a time. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself…” Matt 6:34

Take it at a healthy pace for you and baby and enjoy the time spent with your girls during the walks. Cheering you on, Rebekah! ??

I don’t like too intense heat for walking. One day last week I did not get any walking in. I was busy during the cool of the day, and it got up to 112* that day. That’s just too hot for me… 🙂

Keep up the great work everyone! I’m one of those trying to make up, but by God’s grace we can reach the finish line if we keep trying!

    5 miles completed again today!

I’m not sure we will make it to the 100 mile marker…we’ll see how everyone is feeling tomorrow morning.

I do appreciate the opportunity to contemplate spiritual truths.

1 Cor 9:27 but I keep my body under, and bring it into subjection, lest preaching to others, I myself should become reprobate.

We didn’t walk any yesterday (I needed to focus on some housework). Today we walked 5 miles using the Leslie Sansone videos on YouTube. Going to do a few chores and then go swim at Grammy’s. Hopefully, we can fit in another mile or 2 this evening. 🙂 I’m glad to be moving again. Baby is growing…therefore my belly is expanding and I’m already struggling with wanting to be done with this pregnancy. I’m in need of endurance so that this baby is healthy and strong when he or she arrives!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. ❤

I thought I had about 30 miles to go when this week started, but then I found out that I had 3 more than I thought! I have done about 12 this week. I’m glad to hear that you are still covering ground!! ?

Likewise! I’m glad that you are pressing on! 33 is much less daunting than 77…?

With 12 down, 21 to go for you!

And with 15 down for us, we have 62 left to go! Fewer than the 77. ??
