As I look at my Spring100 Calendar, I am noticing we are almost half way through this challenge. WAY TO GO! ?? Y’all are doing a wonderful job and I am thrilled to have you in the Spring100 challenge. I hear a portion of the walkers/runners are recovering from that nasty super-cold effecting a everyone from deep south in Texas all the way to London 😉 but you haven’t let it slow you down. WOW!! Fantastic! This week’s Spring100 verse is Psalm 85:13, “Righteousness shall go before HIM; and shall set us in the way of HIS steps.“ This would make a great memory verse for the next week and I encourage you all to really meditate on it during your walk! Isn’t it a comforting and blessed truth that He sets us in the way of His righteous steps?! Enjoy week 6 everyone and don’t forget to send in 100MileMonday photos along the way!! Can’t wait to walk week 6 of the SPRING100 with you all across the miles! ???

What great weather! To answer the questions:
1. I think my favorite walking buddy is Adele ?, but second is my sister Beth and her little girlies, who make it on many of my walks! ?
2. After a lovely rain, our long driveway turned to mud, so I walked in mud boots — and got two blisters! ? But that’s all (nothing worse!), so I feel grateful! ?
It’s been a great week of walking! Thanks, Rachel!
Rachel
OUCH!! Blisters are absolutely no fun. ?? Keep up the beautiful work, Elisha!! I love having you part of the Spring100! ☺️
Leah
You all make an adorable walking team!!
Grace
It was so, so good to finally see you and your walking buddy in person, Elisha!! Such a lovely shower. ??❤️❤️
Katelyn Wahlquist
1. Nathaniel is my favorite company for walks! It’s been a great way for us to talk of how each other’s day went and spend some time together with just a few interruptions from the girls. 🙂
2. Occasionally Kathryn will trip up and scrape her hands and elbows. I haven’t had any accidents yet. 🙂 When we had a cold a some weeks ago walks was just about the only thing to keep the girls from feeling so bad. I’m so thankful to the Lord that I have such a lovely road to take walks on.
Rachel
I’m sooooo glad your walks give you two time to talk over the day!! ? That’s fantastic. ?
Isn’t beautiful scenery such a blessing?! Always so fun to read your comments Katelyn. Enjoy week 6!! ??
Grace
Kaitlyn, I have to say that it is such a treat to see your adorable girls in these posts!!! So glad your walking with us!
Natalie W.
1. My “walking buddy” is my Mom. 🙂
2. One day this past week we walked 2 miles in the rain… we came home nice and wet after our lovely shower! 🙂
Love this week’s verse… reminds me of one of my favorites: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” (Psalm 37: 23-24) 🙂
Rachel
Moms make wonderful walking buddies! ??
? Wow!!! Way to go with that rainy walk. That’s dedication!!
Ah, I love those verses from Ps 37! What beautiful promises. Thank you for your encouraging comment, Natalie!! ?
Leah
Thanks for sharing those verses, Natalie!!
Leah
It has been a beautiful week here!
I really enjoy walking with my family. With different schedules I have mostly been getting my miles in with the company of Honey the family lab. A couple of times I walked with my sister.
I also decided to try and use the tally counter and walk 4,000 steps in place while watching a movie with my family. I don’t know about you, but it’s hard for me to sit still for so long! ?
I am thankful that I haven’t been sick or injured!
I hope you all have a great week!!?
Loved all the photos. ❤
Thanks for the encouragement Rachel.
I will take your advice and meditate on ps. 85. ?
Rachel
Wowza!!! Way to go on those 4,000 steps!!! ? I agree with you, I have the HARDEST TIME sitting still for long stretches.?
Weren’t all the photos fun?! ? Thanking you for contributing! Happy walking/running for week 6! ??
Grace
Favorite walking buddy is probably Emmi or Abel, or whoever will join me… but I usually go solo (though I’m always passing a fellow family member on our ever-crowded driveway)! So far I have escaped the hacking virus that’s running through my house right now?, but a few days ago I had a cold… nothing serious, so a walk was just the thing to clear my head (and nose!) .?♂️ 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣Great photos everyone!!!
Rachel
I hope you don’t get the ahem…. hacking cough! ???? Didn’t we have a fun group of photos this week?! ???
Leah
I hope you can miss the virus!
Grace
Thanks, Leah! Me too… trying to keep it at bay with the vitamin C and lots of prayer!! ? Glad to see your face on this post!
Rachel A.
Hello, everyone!
Enjoying the photos and following along on everyone’s “journeys”. The toughest part of the Spring100 has been the pollen and allergies…I’ve been walking indoors more lately, though the spring weather is absolutely gorgeous! 😉
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” –Phil. 3:13-14
Keep pressing on Spring100ers! 🙂
Rachel
Oh!! So glad you are able to enjoy some indoor walking. Those allergies can get really bad this time of year!! ?
Phil. 3:13-14 is a favorite for me. 🙂 Thank you for encouraging us with it!!
Have fun for week 6, Rachel! ?
Natalie W.
Love that verse! 🙂
Leah
Oh! Allergies! That is tough. Glad to hear your not giving up, but keeping up the challenge indoors!
Sarah M.
My favorite walking partners are my sisters and also my dog. Ellie needs the exercise so that motivates me. No sickness here but sorry for you all who are experiencing it!
Rachel
I bet it is helpful to have a dog that HAS to go out for a walk to encourage you to get your walking in! ? So thankful you have remained healthy for the Spring100. Enjoy this new week and whatever it may bring!! ???
ruth leake
great post Rachel !
Love all the pictures(:
my favorite walking partners are Lydia Rebekah Emmaus and Abel.
I didn’t experience any discomforts on this week’s spring 100 exept I got a little hungry on one of the walks.
thanks ,Ruth
Rachel
Aren’t all the photos so much fun?! ??
Hahahaha, hunger!!! ? So glad it hasn’t gotten any worse than that for you. Enjoy week 6 Ruth! So glad to have you walking with us. ?????
Leah
Sounds like you have great company, Ruth!
Grace
Cracking up over your “hunger” issues, Ruth!! I Can relate… ???
Bethany Griggs
I’ve had some sickness and a migraine hinder me in my walking, but nothing very serious! A lot of the time I walk alone or with my little dog, Dixie. Lately a couple neighbor children (who also attend our church) have been walking or riding their bikes with me sometimes when I walk. 🙂 I’ve been enjoying the pictures and comments!!
Rachel
So sorry to hear about those migraines!! ❤️ Dixie is a very cute walking partner. 😉 So glad you joined the Spring100, Bethany!!?
lydiajael
Yay!!?? So thankful to the Lord for week five… it was more challenging but His mercy was great! 2.) YES! A very mean cold!! It wasn’t fun.? But I was able to get most of my mileage in before the worst hit! ??? 1.) My walking buddies are Rebekah, Abel, Ruth, and Emmi… I don’t always walk woth all four of them at once but when I do it’s a a LOT of fun!? Everybody’s looking great!? Keep up the good work!!??
Many thanks Rachel!?❤️
Rachel
Yeah… you have been a trooper in the midst of a killer cough. ?❤️❤️❤️ Way to go!!
Faith
My favorite walking partner is my brother Joseph. 🙂 I did not have any sickness or anything like that on week 5. 🙂
Thanks for the post!
Rachel
So glad you haven’t had any sickness. ❤️ That is such a blessing! Enjoy week 6, Faith!!
Faith
Whoops! My fault! 🙂 Week 6! NOT week five. 🙂
tera
I usually go alone, but sometimes I go with my sister Anna, which is great. Conversation makes those miles go faster 😉
So far, I haven’t had any issues…blessing!
Have a great rest of the week!
Oh, and I haven’t submitted any pics…I do usually go alone, and I can’t do selfies 😉
Rachel
So glad you haven’t had any issues! That is a BLESSING!!
Hehe! Well, you will have to get Anna to take a pic of your next time y’all go together!?? Have a wonderful Sunday, Tera!!
Hope
These days I do my walking/jogging alone, too; but whenever someone accompanies me, it is my brother Joseph and my sister Faith–or just Joseph. On the Sunday of week 5 I was fighting off a virus, but thank the Lord, I had recovered by the afternoon, so I was well in time for Spring 100 on Monday. Other than that, I didn’t have any major discomforts on week 5.
Rachel
So thankful you recovered, Hope!! Keep up the great work. So glad to have you join us for the Spring100 challenge!! ?
Anna
I’m lagging behind on my miles due to the flu ? ? But feeling much better and hope to catch up soon!!
Rachel
So SORRY to hear you had the flu. That doesn’t sound like any fun! ? Hoping you’ve fully recovered and are back to 100%!!
