WEEK 6 MILEAGE FORM
…………………………
“I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.”
Psalm 119:32
Well, half way through Spring100 is almost unbelievable for me!! This has been a great challenge and I have loved getting to know you all a little better through it. ?The next few weeks we have some pretty exciting happenings planned for our 100MileMonday posts(including a give-away?), so be ready!! How was week 6 for you all? Spring100ers have enjoyed a variety of walking conditions this past week and it’s been so fun to see. From sunny warm river walks to snow-covered ground❄️[how’s that for a Spring day?!] If y’all are using the Spring100 Calendar, Ps 119:32 is the verse of the week. Honestly, whenever I read this verse, it makes my heart swell! We can run swiftly in His commandments because He “enlarges” our hearts. “God, by His Spirit, enlarges the hearts of His people when he gives them wisdom”[MHC] and we are told in James 1:5 that “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” How exciting is that truth?! I am reminded of Psalm 119:18 where the Psalmist says, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.” This would be a wonderful prayer for week 7 of the Spring100. May we seek the Lord diligently through His Word and pray that He would give us wisdom [enlarged hearts] to run [not just walk but RUN] swiftly in His commandments!! ? Praying for you all!
??2 questions for this week!! ?? 1.) Since we are exactly half way through, what’s been your favorite thing about the Spring 100 challenge so far? 2.) What is YOUR FAVORITE after walk/run treat( chocolate, fruit, cheeseburger??, NAP?, etc.)?? Comment below answering one or both questions!↓↓ Can’t wait to hear your answers!!
????DON’T FORGET! To make the 100MileMonday posts fun and interactive, I need to hear from YOU! Leave comments below and feel free to comment on other Spring100er’s comments. Also, these posts are made possible by your fantastic Spring100 photos. Snap a picture of yourself walking and send to Spring100@shilohPhotography.com for next week’s post! 🙂 ?

All smiles from Kansas all the way to the heart of Texas for these Spring100 walkers! Sarah overcame the rain to get her mile in and Elisha + Adele are enjoying the sunshine. Beautiful job ladies! ???
Just so y’all feel a lot better about your walking conditions…. Sharon had to conquer a Spring Snow storm to get her mile in. ? Sharon wins most extreme walking weather conditions for week 7 y’all!! ??
Mom’s been talking the kids on a river walk this past week! How fun does this group look?!? Keep up the great work y’all!! ?
Lydia’s delication has been so INSPIRATIONAL!! Rain or shine, sick or healthy, hot or cold… she’s out grabbing her mile + helping the younger crew get their walks in too. Fantastic job Lydia!! ! ???
ENJOY WEEK 7!!!
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2

♩♪These are a few of my favorite things.♫♫……knowing that others are out walking as part of this challenge, seeing the photo’s, Rachel’s encouraging scripture verses, pushed to walk extra when I could do less.
special person's mom
Amen!!!
Rachel
Love your Spring100 favorite things, Sharon! ?? So thankful to have you join us. Keep warm for week 7!! ❄️?
Leah
Love your favorites, Sharon!
MarieD
Lovely pictures !
1) My favorite thing has been joining my school’s training team and going run with them twice a week. I’ve made a couple of good friend and it helps me relieve my stress that’s increasing exponentially as the days of my final test is coming up !!
2) favorite thing afterward ? Checking my fitbit watch to see how much I walked/ran and feel proud of myself ! 🙂
Thanks again for this wonderful challenge. It has been a great excuse for exercising even more and the verses you share are such a blessing, especially for me during those difficult months !
Rachel
That training team sounds like a lot of fun!! ?? Way to go, Marie.
Aw, thank you for joining this Challenge. Having you here is a blessing! So thankful the verses shared are encouragement to you. Praise the Lord! That is an answer to prayer. ?? Psalm 115:1
Leah
I hope your finals go well Marie!

Rachael, with the giveaway you’re planning soon, will those who are not participating in the Spring100 still be able to participate??
Rachel
The give-away will be for those participating in the Spring100! ??
Grace
Yay! My favorite part about the Spring 100 challenge is the participation and the extra push to stay consistent with my miles. Post workout treats: usually breakfast since I exercise in the morning :). Keep going, everyone!
Rachel
I agree on the post-workout treat! ???
travisandelisha
Halfway through? That’s amazing!!!! Wow! Congrats to all the dedicated Spring100 team! ??
1. I think my favorite thing about the Spring100 so far has been the motivation, post-baby, to get out EVERY SINGLE weekday and exercise, instead of slacking off some days! Having a new baby adds an element of difficulty to scheduling walks in, so it was really great to have a goal that helped encourage me to make them happen daily anyway! THANK YOU, Rachel!
2. My favorite after-walk treat? Hmmm. Seeing Adele’s usually hungry after a walk — I’ll sit down on the couch and nurse her, drinking a tall glass of water and reading a book. ?
Rachel
Isn’t making it to the half way point incredible?! ??
So glad this challenge has been motivational! That’s a blessing to hear. ?
Hehe, your after walk treat sounds very calorically harmless. ??
Melanie
1. Favorite thing…well, I’m enjoying the Spring100 posts and being prayer partners with a fellow Spring100 walker! 🙂 Also, the motivation to log miles is giving me the excuse to get outside and cover more ground!
2. Favorite after walk treat: Drink of water and a shower! 🙂
Three cheers for the Spring100 team!!! Looking forward to more miles logged this second half!
Rachel
LOVE your answer to question #1! ?✨
Keep up the wonderful work, Melanie!! So glad to have you in this challenge walking with us. ???
Ruth leake
Great pictures Rachel !?
My favorite thing about this spring 100 so far is getting more exercise in a days time.
My favorite after walk treat is taking a shower and/or eating dinner.
Thanks ,Ruth
Rachel
?? Thank you, Ruth!!! It’s been fantabulous seeing you get your miles in. Keep yo the great work!!! ?
Rachel A.
1.) My favorite thing about the Spring100 has been the challenge to keep at it consistently! Oh, and the photos shared from around the world. 🙂
2.) My favorite after-walk treat? A cool glass of water and sitting down! 🙂
“…Grace unending all my days
You’ll give me strength to run this race
And when my years on earth are through
The praise will all belong to You.” –“Grace Unmeasured” (Bob Kauflin)
Rachel
Aren’t the photos fun? I always love seeing who sends them in each week!!! ??
Enjoy week 7!! ???
Leah
Thanks for sharing those encouraging lyrics, Rachel!
lydiajael
Great post!!❤️ 1.) My favorite thing has been the extra time I’ve been able to spend with my siblings!!? 2.) I like to sit down to a cup of coffee and a piece of chocolate after my walks!!?☕️??♀️ Thanks Rachel! ?
Rachel
Love your after walk treat!! ?
Hope
1) My favorite thing about Spring 100 so far is probably the 100 Monday Mile posts and everyone’s answers to the questions of the week.
2) If I’m rather parched after jogging a lot, a cool glass of water is a nice treat. I also like relaxing after jogging and being able to mark up the mile or miles I’ve done.
Rachel
Love your answers Hope!!! ?? Aren’t all the answers so fun?! ?
Hope
Great work on the half-way mark, everybody!!
Sarah M.
My favorite two items are Rachel’s encouragement and all the pictures. I feel blessed we didn’t have snow after seeing that picture. Good job on whomever braved that! ?
Sarah M.
Oh, and chocolate is my go-to snack! ?
Rachel
?? Love your answers. Ana I whole heartedly agree with the after walking chocolate treat! ? Enjoy week 7!!??
Hannah Griggs
My favorite thing to do after my walk is lay in my hammock in my flower garden. I am enjoying Spring100 very much, Rachel!
Rachel
That hammock sounds just perfect right now!! ?? So happy to have you with us for week 7, Hannah!!
Faith
It’s hard to believe! Half way!
My favorite thing is probably the posts with the pictures. Also I like the feeling of accomplishment when I see how many miles I’ve done. 🙂
Afterward, I sometimes drink water and eat a snack. 🙂
Thank you for hosting this challenge, Rachel! 🙂 It is a great goal for endurance and perseverance.
Rachel
So happy to hear you’re enjoying the posts! That makes my day to hear. ?? A good after walk/run snack and glass of water is a MUST. Enjoy this week of Spring100, Faith!! ???
Leah
Yay! Half way!!
Great job everyone. It’s really been a fun doing this with such a supportive group.
Favorite part?? Hmm…well I really enjoy the extra motivation that this group brings. I have truly been blessed by the focus on God and His word that you have been sharing, Rachel. Seeing all the photos is also a favorite!!!
Water is the best after a long routine. Or kombucha tea. My mom makes the best kombucha. It’s a refreshing treat.
My running buddy has abandoned me. Honey the lab wouldn’t even leave the driveway today. She lay down and wouldn’t budge!!
I am trying to figure out how to get her motivated…Tips anyone? I even gave her a treat before we started. She is one stubborn dog.
Ps. 119:32 was an encouragement today. Thank you for sharing that.
Keep up the hard work everyone!
Blessings,
Leah
Hope
Maybe you get something that Honey really likes, such as a favorite toy, show it to her, and then slowly start to walk out of your driveway, still showing to her, and not give it to her until your to far away from your driveway for her to go back. That might get her to leave your driveway. : )
Leah
That might work! Thanks for the advice, Hope! I will have to try that. Thank you!
Rachel
Loved receiving your answers Leah!! ✨? I’ll have to send my sister over to try your mom’s kombucha!! Lydia loves that drink. ?
Hehe, sounds like honey wants you to carry her on on the walk for an added workout. ??
Keep up the wonderful work Leah!!! ?
Leah
Lydia is welcome any time!
Ha ha, now that would be some workout! 😀
Thanks for your sweet reply, Rachel!!
Faith
This is an article I found that might help (including the comments at the end). 🙂 http://www.wikihow.com/Train-a-Stubborn-Dog
Leah
Wow! Thank you, Faith! Looks like some great information. 🙂
Bethany Griggs
I enjoy the motivation to walk at times when I would not otherwise get it done! I do a lot of my walking of an evening so I enjoy coming in and relaxing when I am done.
Rachel
So glad this challenge has been motivational!! 🙂 That is truly a blessing to hear. <3 Love having you with us Bethany!!
Katelyn T Wahlquist
1. The MOTIVATION!!! Now I try to walk EVERY chance I get instead of taking the car. 🙂 It’s been very good for me. Something funny since starting the challenge……two different neighbors have asked me If I could drive my car sitting in my driveway. I said yes and they were like when? We never see you drive it, you are always walking. 🙂
2. Hum I may grab a snack sometimes like an apple, carrot or chocolate when I’v done a lot that day 🙂
Sarah M.
Katelyn,
I thought it was such a fun comment that your neighbors made. Lol. 🙂
Rachel
?? your neighbor’s evaluations of your walking is so funny!!! Keep up the great work, Katelyn!! ?
